Subhadra Yojana is a scheme started by the government of Odisha in 2024 under the Women and Child Development Department with a budget of ₹10000 crore to help financially weak women who cannot take care of themselves and their families. With the help of this scheme, women will get financial help of ₹50000 from the state government to fulfill their basic needs. This money will be credited in two installments of ₹5000 directly into the woman’s bank account by the DBT(Direct Benefit Transfer). One installment will be credited on Raksha Bandhan, and the other will be credited on International Women’s Day.

  2. For this scheme, the woman’s age should be between 21 to 60 years.

  4. Those women who are not NFSA / SFSS cardholders can apply for the scheme if their family income is less than 2.5 lakh rupees.

Ineligibility Criteria for Subhadra Yojana 

There are some criteria that if anyone meets them, then they will not be eligible for the scheme.

  1. Those women who are getting any kind of financial assistance from the government, such as a pension, scholarship, etc., more than 1500 per month, are not eligible for the scheme.
  2. Any of the family members of the woman who are current or former members of parliament or members of the legislative assembly are not eligible.
  3. Any member of the family should not be an income taxpayer.
  4. If the family owns a four-wheeler vehicle, except tractors, mini commercial vehicles, mini trucks, and small light goods vehicles are ineligible.
  5. The family should not own more than 5 acres of land.

  3. Now the applications will be verified with the database on the government’s portal and also with the field inquiry.
  4. All applicants will be required to submit their e-KYC; after doing this, the application will be processed.
