Subhadra Yojana is a scheme started by the government of Odisha in 2024 under the Women and Child Development Department with a budget of ₹10000 crore to help financially weak women who cannot take care of themselves and their families. With the help of this scheme, women will get financial help of ₹50000 from the state government to fulfill their basic needs. This money will be credited in two installments of ₹5000 directly into the woman’s bank account by the DBT(Direct Benefit Transfer). One installment will be credited on Raksha Bandhan, and the other will be credited on International Women’s Day.

Eligibility Criteria for Subhadra Yojana

To become a part of the Subhadra Yojana scheme, one needs to meet the given eligibility criteria.

1. The woman must be a resident of Odisha.
2. For this scheme, the woman’s age should be between 21 to 60 years.
3. Those women who are NFSA(National Food Security Act) / SFSS(State Food Security scheme) cardholders are eligible.
4. Those women who are not NFSA / SFSS cardholders can apply for the scheme if their family income is less than 2.5 lakh rupees.
5. Every woman’s Aadhaar Card should be linked to their bank account.
6. Applicants must complete e-KYC verification to become eligible for the scheme. 
7. Employed women and outsourced workers are also eligible.

Ineligibility Criteria for Subhadra Yojana 

There are some criteria that if anyone meets them, then they will not be eligible for the scheme.

1. Those women who are getting any kind of financial assistance from the government, such as a pension, scholarship, etc., more than 1500 per month, are not eligible for the scheme.
2. Any of the family members of the woman who are current or former members of parliament or members of the legislative assembly are not eligible.
3. Any member of the family should not be an income taxpayer.
4. If the family owns a four-wheeler vehicle, except tractors, mini commercial vehicles, mini trucks, and small light goods vehicles are ineligible.
5. The family should not own more than 5 acres of land.

Subhadra Yojana Online Apply 2025

The Subhadra Yojana online application process is given below. Follow it and apply online for the scheme. 

1. Firstly, you need to go to the subhadra portal, subhadra.odisha.gov.in, of the scheme. 

2. Then you have to click on the ‘official login’ option.

3. After clicking, you will find a few options from which you have to click on the ‘CSC login’ option.

4. Here you have to enter your username and password, and then click on login

5. After logging in, you will find two options: ‘Submit new application’ and ‘View Submitted Applications’, from which you will have to click on the ‘Submit new application’

6. Now on this page, you will have to enter your Aadhaar card number and click on the submit and accept the “Agreement Policy”.

7. Now, click on the ‘Proceed to verify e-KYC’ option and select any of the three options from the page (OTP, Eye Retina, Finger Print). Suggesting the easiest one is OTP

8. Once you complete the Aadhaar e-KYC verification. You can proceed to the application form.

9. Fill the application form very carefully, and you have to upload the physical form, which you can get from the nearest Anganwadi centres, Block offices, Urban local body offices, Mo Seba Kendra, or Common service centres.

10. After filling out the application process, accept all the privacy policies by reading them carefully, then enter your location and preview the application.

11. Now submit the application form. And you have filled the form successfully.

Objective of Subhadra Yojana

• The scheme was announced by the state government of Odisha, for which the Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida of Odisha announced a ₹10,000 crore budget.
• Chief Minister Mohan Charan Mahaji of Odisha and Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the scheme on September 17, 2024.
• The project is led by the Women and Child Development Department.
• Standard Operating Procedures for the implementation were produced by the Odisha government.

Subhadra Yojana Apply Offline 2025

To apply for the Subhadra Yojana offline, you must follow the following procedure.

1. Firstly, you need to go to the nearest Anganwadi centres, Block offices, Urban local body offices, mo seba kendera, or Common service centres and get the application form.
2. Then you have to fill the form very carefully and provide a copy of their required documents with the form and submit it to the nearest mo seba kendra or Common Service centres.
3. Now the applications will be verified with the database on the government’s portal and also with the field inquiry.
4. All applicants will be required to submit their e-KYC; after doing this, the application will be processed. 

Benefits of Subhadra Yojana

Given below are the benefits that women of Odisha will get from the government with the Subhadra Yojana.

1. Every woman under this scheme will get ₹50000 over 5 years.
2. The amount will be transferred directly into the bank account with the help of the DBT method in two installments of ₹5000.
3. The two installments will be made on Raksha Bandhan and International Women’s Day, showing women empowerment and making their day special on the occasion.
4. Each beneficiary woman will get a Subhadra card (ATM-cum-debit card).

1. Applicants need to go to the Subhadra Portal.
2. Thereafter, after scrolling down, they will find an option for the beneficiary list.
3. After clicking on the beneficiary list option, you can enter the details asked here, that are your district, block/ULB, GP/Ward, and then click on submit.
4. Now, the beneficiary list according to the details entered by you will appear.
